Join instructor Carol Heath
Stabile, longtime pastel artist, in exploring chalk pastel in two serial workshops for beginning students. No need for painting or drawing skill. You’ll learn the different kinds of chalk and how to use them on various kinds of papers, as well as underpainting and finishing.
You’ll create art in the first session, and framable
art in the second session. Carol was my first teacher over 10 years ago when I picked up chalk pastel for the first time and I still love the painting I created in her class, framed and could have sold many times over because others liked it too. Join us in the studio for good coffee and a day to explore this deliciously sensual medium.
